Why PDB

Your property doesn’t need another solar pitch.

Most providers begin with the products, financing, and programs they already sell. PDB starts with your property. We evaluate the available options and determine which combination best supports your goals — including when the answer is to wait, or to skip solar altogether.

How PDB works

Many options. One recommendation.

Most providers begin with the products, financing, and programs they already sell. We start with your property.

01.

Assess

We analyze the property, energy use, objectives, economics, and constraints.

02.

Compare

We evaluate relevant lenders, programs, installers, hardware, and technologies.

03.

Build

We assemble the combination designed to produce the strongest overall outcome.

04.

Execute

We help coordinate the selected solution from decision through implementation.

For homeowners

The right energy strategy for your home.

Solar is only one part of the decision. Financing, incentives, equipment, storage, installer quality, and long-term goals can dramatically change which solution makes sense.

For commercial properties

Turn energy into a performance advantage.

Evaluate energy improvements through the same lens as any property investment: operating expenses, cash flow, resilience, incentives, asset value, and return.Lower OPEX. Higher NOI. Better power economics.

The difference

Most companies sell their platform. We help you build yours.

It's a difference of business model and method — not a knock on any installer or partner.

What guides the work

Optionality, analysis, and accountability

01

Optionality

Multiple paths considered — not one predetermined package.

02

Analytical

Economics and fit drive the recommendation.

03

Optimized

The solution is assembled around your project.

04

Accountable

We stay involved beyond the initial recommendation.

Play with the numbers yourself

Nobody can promise future utility rates — so we show a low, middle, and high escalation scenario instead of one. Adjust the assumptions and see the range.

Your numbers

Move the sliders to picture the possibilities.

We default low on purpose. Most homes land 15–30%; the result below shows a conservative-to-typical range.

Nobody can promise this. 6% is a middle estimate; try 3–12%.

Why your results will vary

  • Roof orientation, shade & angle
  • Your actual usage patterns
  • System size that fits your roof
  • Real utility-rate changes (unpredictable)
  • Weather & seasonal production
  • Financing terms and any escalator

For visualizing possibilities only. Every home is different — we don't get a clear picture until a site survey and bill analysis are done. Real utility rates, usage, production, roof, and program terms all vary, and savings aren't guaranteed.

Straight answers to the skeptical questions

Good questions deserve honest answers — including when solar isn't the move.

Does solar eliminate my electric bill?+

Usually not entirely — most homes keep a small monthly utility connection charge, and how much you offset depends on your usage and system size. We show you the realistic number.

Is there still a federal tax credit in 2026?+

For a home you own outright (cash/loan), the 30% residential credit ended for systems placed in service after Dec 31, 2025. Lease/PPA options are different. We'll walk you through what actually applies.

How is PDB different from a solar company?+

Most providers begin with the products, financing, and programs they already sell. We start with your property, evaluate multiple options, and build the combination that fits — including telling you when solar isn't the move.

What can a battery really run in an outage?+

Essentials like your fridge, lights, and internet for a while — air conditioning is a much bigger draw. No battery powers a house indefinitely. We size it to your goals honestly.

Can my HOA stop me from installing solar?+

No. Florida's Solar Rights Act (Fla. Stat. 163.04) bars an HOA or deed restriction from prohibiting solar — an HOA can only fine-tune placement, and only in a way that doesn't hurt the system's performance. We work with HOAs regularly and handle the approval process.

What's included in the $0-down lease?+

Maintenance, insurance, and warranty are all part of the lease, and the equipment is replaced if it isn't performing — so you get the energy plan without owning the upkeep or the risk. Exact terms vary by program.
