About us

An advisor, not an installer chasing a commission

Solar has a trust problem, and it's earned. Too many homeowners have been pushed into the wrong system by a rep who needed the sale more than they needed the panels. We built Power Done Better to work the other way around.

How we work

We start with a different question than a typical solar company. Not "how do we sell this person solar?" but "what is this property paying for energy, what does it consume, what risks matter to the owner, and which of the available options fit?" We evaluate multiple options based on your property and goals — not a single predetermined package.

Sometimes the answer is solar. Sometimes it's a battery, or a roof done first, or efficiency upgrades — or staying with the utility for now. We'd rather give you the honest comparison and earn your trust than push a product that doesn't fit.

How installation works

When a project does make sense and you choose to move forward, the physical installation is performed by licensed, insured contractors. We work with partners including SunVena Solar (EC13009447) and EPC Solar (EC13012230). You always see the numbers before you commit.

Where we work

We're focused on Southwest Florida — Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Lehigh Acres, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and the surrounding communities — with the ability to expand as we grow.

Our standards

How we treat facts

Because we make claims about rates, programs, and savings, we hold ourselves to a sourcing standard.

Every time-sensitive claim about rates, incentives, or programs is tied to a primary source and a verification date.
We never fabricate statistics, incentives, or utility-rate increases.
We don't imply affiliation with any utility, agency, or manufacturer.
When something needs legal, tax, or program verification, we flag it rather than guess.

Build your power plan

Tell us about your property and upload a recent electric bill. We'll evaluate the financing, programs, installers, and technology available to you — and build the combination that fits. You decide what happens next.

We compare the numbers. You decide. If solar isn't right for your property, we'll say so.
